Nose : Delicate scents of brown sugar, honey, coffee bean; later whiffs following further aeration encounter baking spices: vanilla, and cloves.
Palate : Entry is biscuity, yet is bittersweet and light-bodied. Midpalate features round, supple flavors of dark chocolate, root beer, egg cream. Finishes fast, refined. Serious white rum at its grassy, herbal best.
Nose : Hints of black peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, baked cherry, prune, molasses; later sniffs encounter forest, leaves, black tea, dry stone.
Palate : Entry is fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and is off-dry. midpalate is spicy, piquant, minerally, and significantly drier than the entry stage. Ends spicy.
Nose : Intense and very precise notes of coffee, orange, plum, jam and truffles.
Palate : It bursts with caramel cream, chocolate and vanilla notes. It continues on with cinnamon, raisins, nutmeg, oak and molasses with smoky accents.
Result : Long and lingering with dark chocolate, clove and caramel.
Nose : The opening nosing round is all about baking shop fragrances, but also pipe tobacco, toasted marshmallow; secondary whiffs after further aeration discover bacon fat, black raisin, prune.
Palate : Entry is bittersweet, roasted; midpalate is engagingly toasty, nearly fruity, as in baked orchard fruits, and resiny. Finishes medium long, chocolaty.
Nose : Complex and well-balanced notes of ripe tropical fruits and vanilla, evolving to delicate hints of white peach and coconut.
Palate : The double ageing creates a first wave of tropical candied fruits leading to voluptuous bourbon vanilla notes, whose richness is perfectly balanced by the fresh fruits and delicate tannins of the second wave.
